Enriching the lives of adults with dementia—while giving caregivers the support they deserve..

- Coming Soon
Sage Crossing projected opening fall/winter 2025
Sage Crossing is a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors living with dementia through meaningful, service-based programs that foster intergenerational connection, nature-based engagement, and compassionate caregiver support.
We’re excited to launch soon with a group respite program as a first step toward our long-term vision: a vibrant Senior Enrichment Center that empowers individuals with cognitive impairments to age with dignity and purpose, allowing them to experience a sense of belonging at every stage of aging.
As we search for a permanent location, we’re building strong community partnerships and laying the groundwork for a future rooted in holistic care, enriching programs, and strong community ties.
We’re also committed to developing support groups and programs to educate the broader community about brain health and dementia, promoting earlier identification, better understanding, and more inclusive care.
Stay tuned as we grow—one step at a time—toward a more supportive and inclusive future for aging.

- Our Story
Dedicated to building a more inclusive approach to dementia & aging
Sage Crossing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by a diverse team of healthcare and community members who recognized the urgent need for a more compassionate approach to caring for individuals living with cognitive change. Inspired by Atul Gawande’s Being Mortal, we believe in moving beyond the clinical “fix-it” mindset to embrace care that fosters purpose, connection, and dignity in the later chapters of life.

- At Sage Crossing, we reject the stigma that often surrounds dementia. Instead, we celebrate each person’s story, honor their past contributions, and focus on enhancing quality of life through meaningful engagement.
- Our mission is to provide enriching, relationship-based care that connects generations and empowers those experiencing brain change to thrive, not just survive.
- We aim to offer volunteer-supported and service based programs that promote interaction, creativity, and community involvement.
- Our vision is to become an inclusive Senior Enrichment Center and a vibrant hub for holistic care. Through partnerships with schools, local organizations, and medical institutions we seek to provide a space where seniors can share their wisdom and remain vital members of the community.
